As many other old buildings from Kiryu-shi, this one had a saw-shaped roof. It was a symbolic item that was subconscious by the past renovations. During this terminal project, the roof was revealed again and became a visual part of the design. The architects didn't make many drastic changes. View in gallery Externally, the building is very elementary and doesn't really stand out past annihilation. It features a combination of black and white structures and an overall elementary design. Internally, the patisserie is modern and has a minimalist look. It features the same black and white combination, complemented by wooden furniture with natural finishes. It was a very interesting change and the building is now ready to be used for many years to come.{found on archdaily and pics by Masaya Yoshimura}.
